A elevação do solo superior a um metro e a sua impermeabilização, sem licenciamento municipal, contribuíram para o agravamento dos danos causados pelas inundações de 25 de Outubro de 2006 aos dois edifícios habitacionais confinantes 
deste atentado urbanístico, uma vez que não houve qualquer drenagem das águas que, por sua vez, formaram um canal, de forte corrente, entre o muro dessa construção ilegal e o talude da Estrada de Eiras.
O PERIGO SUBSISTE, A ILEGALIDADE MANTÉM-SE E A CÂMARA MUNICIPAL DE COIMBRA NÃO ACTUA, APESAR DE ESTAR FORMALMENTE ALERTADA PARA ESTES FACTOS DESDE AGOSTO DE 2006.
